ETS发布的2020年GRE考试报告显示：中国GRE考生写作Writing平均分为3.1分，略低于全球平均分3.6分。

写作1-issue

考题形式：类似于大家比较熟悉的托福TOEFL独立写作，或者雅思IELTS大作文，属于“命题形式”写作，根据给出的考题阐述自己观点。

写作2-argument

考题形式：和之前多数考生所接触的写作考试形式有比较大区别，GRE写作argument部分会先给出一篇阅读短文，要求考生从短文中找出逻辑漏洞，并进行反驳。

核心考察点：考生的逻辑辩证思维能力，要求比较高。
